If it isn’t clear from my travel posts, I love to learn about other cultures. Linda’s embrace of her family origins made this wedding a pleasure to be a part of. I enjoyed meeting David and appreciated how welcoming he and his groomsmen were. While many grooms don’t get very excited about the photographs, David realized the importance of the day and encouraged me to interrupt should any scenes catch my eye. Unfortunately, the weather for the day wasn’t nearly as encouraging. The grey clouds had held their rain for most of the day. However, as if on cue, as Linda & David kissed the drops began to fall. Sure everyone got a little wet but the couple stayed lighthearted and didn’t let it take away from their wedding day. After having a first dance and greeting their guest, Linda changed into a traditional Chinese wedding gown for the rest of the night. The rain stopped just in time for the convertible departure and the end to a wonderfully unique experience.
