I’ve been wanting to try out the time-lapse function on my camera for awhile and finally got the chance.  This can be done with any camera with a built in intervalometer whether your camera has a specific function or not.  With the Nikon D600, you select the frequency of pictures & duration and after the shooting is complete the video is automatically compiled.  Pretty neat.  This video is straight out of the camera.

Anyway, on to the video.  This is a time-lapse of us sodding our yard over a  4 hour period.  Watch the video for all the fun, none of the work.
