In 2012, I was confronted with more photographic challenges than ever before.  Thanks to those challenges, I was able to greatly enhance my compositions and post-production workflow.  I added a marco lense to my camera bag and it opened up a whole new genre of photography.

I was fortunate enough to photograph several weddings this year each with its own unique circumstances.  Shooting weddings offers a great test of my photographic abilities.  Encompassing a wide variety of subjects, they require a diverse skill set and the quick implementation of techniques.  Not only that but I was also able to visit Kauai, Hawaii; a landscape photographers dream location.

From macro to landscape to portrait photography, I have been very pleased with the results.  Without a doubt, this year has produced my favorite pictures I have taken.  I can only hope that 2013 will present me with just as many opportunities to grow my portfolio.  Here is a looks at some of my favorite images of 2012.
